Philosophy
A Tribute to the Roots of Korean Barbecue
In the late 1970s and early '80s, Korea's barbecue restaurants became places for family gatherings, warm hospitality and flavors that last.
Our name comes from Seocho, a district in the heart of Seoul known for its refined dining culture. At Seocho 1978 we bring that same care to Quezon City: carefully selected beef and pork, a marinade recipe passed down through generations, and side dishes made the Korean way.

Is Seocho 1978 an unlimited (unli) Korean BBQ?
No. We serve premium à la carte cuts by the 100 g, plus set menus for 2 to 8 people. Every order comes with refillable banchan and dipping sauces.
How much does a meal cost?
Premium beef starts at ₱1,850 per 100 g and pork at ₱800 per 100 g, with a minimum of 2 servings per type of meat. Set menus start at ₱4,880 (Pork Couple Combo, good for 2–4).

Which cuts should I order first?
Our chef's picks are Salchisal (chuck flap) and Yangnyeom Galbisal (marinated rib finger) for beef, and Almoksim (pork neck) or Dwaeji Galbi (marinated pork) for pork. Finish with naengmyeon or cheese kimchi fried rice.
